Leexi and Noota alternatives: what field sales teams should actually compare

Leexi and Noota are European AI notetakers that both record in-person meetings from a phone. For a field sales team, the difference lies less in capture than in what happens to the meeting afterwards.

Most comparisons of Leexi and Noota alternatives start from the wrong premise, that these tools cannot handle meetings outside a video call. Both document mobile apps for in-person meetings. The useful question for a field sales team is narrower: what each tool does with the meeting once it is recorded, and whether that is the job you are hiring for.

What Leexi is, and who it fits

Leexi describes itself as a European and secure AI notetaker, sold as a suite of integrated tools. It captures meetings on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, calls through VoIP integrations such as Aircall and Ringover, and in-person meetings through its mobile app for iOS and Android. Recording a meeting in the room takes one tap, and the result is a transcript, a structured summary, speaker identification, tasks and next steps, with CRM fields filled automatically in Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive.

Its coaching module, Leexi Coach, evaluates each conversation against custom scorecards per meeting type, from discovery to closing, including objection handling, needs qualification and validated next steps. The site lists more than 100 detected languages and CRM connections that also include Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho and Odoo. It states that data is hosted in Europe, with the in-person page specifying France, GDPR compliance and ISO 27001 certification. Its solutions cover sales, customer success, recruiters and other professions.

What Noota is, and who it fits

Noota is broader than a notetaker. Alongside meeting recording for Google Meet, Zoom, Teams and Webex, it offers a recruitment agent, a business phone system, email automation and a knowledge base across meetings, calls and emails. Its mobile app for iPhone and Android records, transcribes and summarises in-person conversations directly from the phone. It connects to Salesforce, HubSpot and Bullhorn among others.

Its sales coaching page describes analysing sales calls to surface strengths, weak points, recurring objections and customer responses. The security page states that data is stored on Google Cloud in European data centres in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, and offers a text-only option that keeps the transcript but not the audio or video. Its solutions pages include sales management, consulting, recruitment, and bank, insurance and accounting firms.

Where they stop for field sales teams

Neither tool has a capture problem. Both are horizontal notetakers that serve many functions, and sales coaching is one module among several. That is a strength when one tool has to serve the whole company, and a limit when the job is to change how field reps behave in front of a client. For a team whose revenue is decided in living rooms and showrooms, three questions remain open:

  • Practice after the meeting. Neither site, in the pages we checked, describes turning the objections heard in meetings into AI roleplays. On those pages, coaching stops at the scorecard and the manager's comments.
  • Consent at the table. The pages we read on both sites do not describe how a client's agreement to be recorded is collected in the app. In a client's home, that step has to be designed and documented, and in Switzerland recording without it falls under criminal law.
  • Where the data sits. Both host in the EU, which suits most buyers. A Swiss insurer, a pension advisory network or any company whose policy requires data in Switzerland will need a different answer.

What to check before choosing Leexi and Noota alternatives

Five questions settle a shortlist faster than a feature grid, and each can be answered in one email to the vendor:

  • Is the tool built for your meeting? A 90-minute home visit with two decision-makers, not only a 30-minute video call.
  • How is consent collected and logged? In the product at the start of the meeting, or left to your own procedure.
  • Whose method does it score against? Your stages and vocabulary, and can a rep see the exact passage behind each point.
  • Does practice come from real meetings? Roleplays built from the objections your clients actually raised.
  • Where are recordings hosted, and what is written back to the CRM? Both answers in writing before a pilot.

What to take away

Leexi and Noota both record in-person meetings. If you need one notetaker for the whole company, they are serious options. If the goal is to coach field reps and have them rehearse what clients really said, compare coaching depth, consent and hosting, not capture.

When Leexi or Noota is the better choice

Choose Leexi if you want one European notetaker for sales, customer success and internal meetings across video, phone and the occasional client visit, with custom scorecards and a wide list of CRMs, including Odoo and Zoho. It is a coherent choice for a French or Belgian business that wants data in France. Its scorecards per meeting type also make it a reasonable coaching tool for teams whose client visits follow a B2B pattern.

Choose Noota if your need extends to recruitment, a business phone system or a shared knowledge base, or if the text-only retention option matters to your data policy. For a firm where sales is one use among many, a horizontal tool is often the better buy than a specialised one.

When MIHOS is the better fit

MIHOS does one job: in-person selling. The meeting is recorded only with the client's consent, scored against your own method, and every coaching point links back to the timestamped passage of the transcript. The objections clients actually raised become AI roleplays, so reps rehearse next week's meetings, not a generic script. Follow-ups, next steps and updates to the CRM fields your admin approves are handled automatically, and recordings are stored in Switzerland. It fits insurance and pension advisors, solar and heat pump installers, HVAC, car dealerships, kitchen and interior showrooms, and security.
